From 55 South, take 73 south and exit Mc Arthur. follow Mc Arthur and make a left on Bonita Canyon. make a quick right after the bridge and another right on Ford st. Park just past the sports field and before the phone company building on the corner. Trail starts on Ford st and heads north

Description

An easy, short hike that the whole family can enjoy. The trail runs from Bonita Canyon sports park to Arroyo park and back. The beginning of the trail is steep, but opens up to an easy well maintained path. On the steep part of the trail is a small waterfall and a few small caves to the left. This hike can be done all year long as the proximity to the ocean keeps the area relatively cool. The area is a tributary into the Upper Newport Bay.
