OutdoorLA.org is an organization of outdoor enthusiasts in Southern California. Our mission is to bring you together with others who enjoy the outdoors. That's it. Anyone can organize an outing and post it on our calendar. Beginners and experts alike are welcome to sign up. With thousands of active members and you'll probably find something that piques your interest posted every week. Since all of our leaders are volunteers you'll find them friendly and looking forward to the outing as much as you are! If you enjoy hiking, rock climbing, surfing, skiing and other outdoor pursuits and are looking for new friends to enjoy the outdoors with then you are in the right place! We have resources for everyone beginners to experts looking to have fun with others in the great outdoors. Your outdoor adventures await.

What makes us different

Other clubs in offer either event planning or guides, we combine them and more. If you want to find out about outdoor parks, outdoor gear, outdoor recreation of all types we combine it into one place and interconnect it to make accessing the information you want as easy and painless as possible. OutdoorLA.org utilizes geomapping technology to link you up with resources near you. With more features being added every week we expect this will become you one stop website for everything related to the healthy outdoor life.

The benefits of joining OutdoorLA.org are many. You will receive updates on events which are being planned in your area. Weather you are interested in learning to scuba dive, ski or just want to go to a BBQ we'll send you updates on the latest happenings in the Los Angeles area based on your preferences. You will also be able to organize your own event and invite your friends. Once you are logged in you will see additional information about what you are viewing, such as how far it is from you.
