From Highway 118/Simi Valley Freeway in the San Fernando Valley, exit on Topanga Canyon Blvd, drive south and turn right on Plummer Streer.Continue 2.4 miles to Woolsey Canyon Road and turn right. (Along the way, Plummer becomes Valley Circle, then Lake Manor Drive). Continue on Woolsey Canyon Road for 2.4 miles to Black Canyon Road and turn right. The Sage Ranch Parking lot is on the left 0.2 miles ahead. Note that Sage ranch can also be reached from Simi valley via Katharine Road and Blacks Canyon Road.

Description

This is one of my favorite hikes to take my 5 year old grandson on. It's a short easy hike, with lots of spectacular rock formations to either view or carefully climb around on. There are picnic tables amongst an oak grove, which makes for a nice picnic spot. Highly recommended.
