Experience the 2024 Solar Eclipse with AMC
On Monday, April 8, 2024, northern New Hampshire will experience a total solar eclipse. Though solar eclipses occur somewhere on earth every 18 months on average, they recur at any given place only once every 400 years. Don’t miss this extremely rare chance to experience the total eclipse in New Hampshire!
When you book a stay at the Highland Center at Crawford Notch or Joe Dodge Lodge in Pinkham Notch, you’ll be an hour’s drive from the eclipse’s path of totality.
Enjoy comfortable accommodations and a weekend’s worth of astrological programming for the whole family leading up to eclipse day. If the weather’s uncooperative, you can stay snug indoors and watch the eclipse on a live stream with a catered lunch and hot drinks.
Here’s a sampling of the activities that will be offered free to overnight guests at the Highland Center and Joe Dodge Lodge:
- Evening presentations about the night sky
- Eclipse-themed films
- An inflatable planetarium
- Guided walks
- Build your own viewfinder crafts
Dinner is included in your nightly rate, and breakfast and lunch are available to purchase on-site. Guests who book a stay between April 6-9, 2024 will receive a gift bag upon check-in containing solar glasses, AMC swag, and homemade eclipse cookies!
